Welcome to Boulder

One of America’s undisputed best places to call home

Sitting at the foothill of the towering Rocky Mountains lies the sprawling, scenic beauty of Boulder, Colorado. Dubbed “the city nestled between the mountains and reality,” Boulder has secured high rankings on several lists, such as US News’ #1 spot on their Happiest Cities in America list, and Forbes’ top position on their America’s Top 25 Towns list. Close proximity to the Rockies has allowed for large-scale preservation of the natural environment, and an abundance of outdoor activities.

Boulder’s history spans back to the 1850s. The western gold rush and the promise of riches brought settlers from the eastern United States, with several deciding to make their stopover in Colorado permanent. Expansion continued with the establishment of the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1876. Today, Boulder is a popular destination for hiking, skiing, and more in the great outdoors.
